A river doesn’t flow in straight lines. Mine has had many interesting twists and turns.

I started out as an advertising executive and after almost a decade spent in building brands, I finally acknowledged the deep, persistent feeling that I was meant to do something else and quit to embark on an unknown adventure. This led to theatre, since acting was always a dream and on the way back from an intense theatre workshop, I stumbled across Art Therapy.
One could say Art Therapy chose me and what started as a personal interest became a serious pursuit. I completed my 5 year training alongside theatre and acting work, began to conduct my own workshops in 2015 and also founded an association for art therapists in India (HATA). One thing led to another – as it often does if you let it and to deepen my work of guiding people to understand themselves and their lives better, I trained in Biography Work, a unique psycho spiritual post therapy modality that helps people to make sense of their lives as a whole, understand its themes and integrate their experiences. When I started to do Biography Work with clients I noticed that inspite of all the clarity, understanding and insight people gained from it, the question I would hear most often at the end is “now what do I do?”. I realised the work cannot atop at insights alone, therefore coaching evolved as the next natural step, to enable people in activating their will and taking tangible actions following the clarity and the desire to write new chapters the emerges out of the discoveries made through Biography Work.
I am a certified Biography Consultant (Living Way) and Depth Coach (ICF ACC & EMCC Practitioner). My approach often begins with Biography Work and ends with Coaching as I believes one needs to appreciate their life, its challenges, gifts and persistent influences before transformation can happen and conscious growth follows. In my coaching work I work with people wanting to make a change, in the midst of one, feeling stuck or going through major life transitions and grief. I have also done my foundation in psychoanalytic observation studies from PTRC. I bring a clear vision and a calm energy to my work and gently guide people to step out of their comfort zone and beyond self imposed limits and beliefs.
In my Art Therapy classes which are ongoing since 2015, I work with adults with a focus on therapeutic needs or self development. I love seeing people evolve, progress and get closer to versions of themselves which were only an idea to begin with. This work has brought a richness to my life which I have immense gratitude for.
